WWE Elimination Chamber - At last night's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Christian made his long awaited WWE return to help Edge fend off Alberto Del Rio following Edge's successful World Heavyweight Championship defense inside the chamber. And the second that happened, you know exactly what fans across the country were thinking: Could we see Edge wrestle Christian at Wrestlemania 27 after all?
In fact, based on the thousands and thousands of comments I've read, numerous B/R readers predicted that the WHC bout at Wrestlemania would eventually become a Triple Threat match between Edge, Christian and Del Rio. Well, it looks like you guys might be right. After all, this match makes a ton on sense from a booking perspective.
Del Rio put Christian on the shelf several months ago, Christian and Edge are "lifelong friends" (remember, they're not brothers anymore!), and fans want to see this match.
So why not make it happen? We all know that if Christian isn't involved in this bout, either as a competitor or a special guest referee, he's probably going to be relegated to the Money in the Bank match. And he's not winning that. The best way to get the most out of Captain Charisma is to have him play a huge role in the Edge/Del Rio feud, with him appearing as the third competitor being the most logical choice.
